Anessa Kemna, PLPC

PLPC, supervised by Frankie Salisbury, LPC, NCC, C-DBT

Have you ever felt like you were a square peg in a round hole? Many people experience shame about who they are and how they think, which makes them feel like they don’t fit in their world. This can leave them feeling isolated, or make them think they’re broken.

You’re not broken, and you don’t have to navigate this alone. I accept you for who you are, not who you think you should be, and will support you as you discover who that person is. We’ll work together to help you attune to your body, find balance in your emotions, and build stronger, more compassionate relationships with the different parts of yourself. You deserve to feel safe, empowered, and free to live authentically.

My therapy style is trauma-informed, compassionate, and affirming. I specialize in working with adults who are neurodivergent, part of the LGBTQ+ community, living with  disabilities, or who have experienced academic trauma. I identify with several of these communities myself as a person with a physical disability and ADHD. .

If you think I may be the right therapist for you, you can email, or call/text to schedule a 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
